The self-named architects of intelligent change have just secured the Microsoft Solution Partner status for digital and app innovation, a high-level designation in the AI Cloud Partner Program.
The recognition gives CloudWize advanced partner credentials that independently prove the company’s deep technical skills in Azure, evidenced business performance, and customer deployment success. It also gives the team even more ability to unlock Microsoft funding for digital transformation projects including Azure migrations, cloud app developments, cost optimisation initiatives, and more.
And to celebrate the end-of-year achievement, the team is offering 15 complimentary AI consulting workshops in Q1 next year.
Armed with decades of specialist Azure experience – amassed from working with some of the world’s largest brands and global systems integrators – the CloudWize team has shaken up the crowded AI marketplace this year. Bringing first-class, enterprise grade knowledge to mid-market organisations, CloudWize’s mission has been to level the playing field for firms that previously struggled to leverage the strategic benefits of AI.
“Our goal is to transform how work gets done,” explains CEO Edward Humphrey, former EMEA cloud director of a £109m portfolio at Cognizant. “And in only a short space of time, I believe we’ve started to create a movement that rethinks the power of AI in the workplace.
“Yes, the technology is insanely exciting – that’s why we’ve built a team of some of the best solution architects and engineers in the world. But the capabilities of AI are so vast that most SMEs and mid-market firms are becoming overwhelmed with the hype. That’s why we see statistics such as ‘95% of AI adoptions fail’. It’s not because it can’t do the job it promises. It’s because organisations don’t have the correct roadmap, strategic support, or systematic readiness to make it work longer-term.
“It’s our job to meet clients wherever they are on their cloud or AI journey, and partner with them to understand where solutions like cloud app innovation, advanced automation, and other AI toolchains, can unlock greater productivity. To do this successfully, we talk as much about people and processes, as we do the technology itself.”
With a two-year trading history under its belt, CloudWize really only emerged on the tech scene in the summer of 2025. June saw the launch of the firm’s new brand, additions to its leadership team, and the unveiling of an aggressive growth plan for the next three years. Promising to break down the barriers associated with successful AI adoption, the team also kickstarted a new afterwork social – the AI Chat Club – in the vibrant digital city of Leeds, with plans to now take the event ‘on the road’ in 2026.
CTO and accomplished AI strategist Matt Hyde added: “Standing out in the world of AI is difficult, especially because the technology is so intuitive which encourages organisations to pursue a ‘DIY’ approach. We would never discourage curiosity among mid-market businesses, because a leader’s imagination is often where the most exciting innovations begin.
“But when it comes to driving real productivity gains, ROI and sustained strategic and operational benefit from AI, the support of an experienced, highly technical but straight-talking team that has ‘been there and done’ it, will be the differentiator in 2026 and beyond. This sought after Microsoft Solution partner designation acts as external validation that in a ‘busy’ industry, our expertise can be trusted.”
There are 23 Azure architects and engineers within the CloudWize team, currently working on projects across finance, legal, agriculture and manufacturing, with transportation and utilities also predicted to be important markets next year.
